Over the past 5 years has established herself as a yoga teacher in London. Exploring different styles, building both knowledge and confidence to create and lead thoughtfully curated classes and retreats for her students.

As well as a teacher, Jess is a lululemon ambassador for the Battersea Power Station store also Studio Director of Basic Space London.

With the feeling that London as a whole has a constant need to rush, Jess extends an invitation to embrace the unhurried pace when we come to the mat, recognising that slowing down allows for deeper connection and exploration.

Typically her classes are challenging, a slow[ish] vinyasa where you’ll move around the mat with creative, playful transitions that really keep your focus in check, weaved together with a playlist carefully create to keep your vibe high when it gets a little sticky and then mellow yourself back down. Always being mindful of the bodies in the room and able to curate a class catering to the space’s collective energy.

She encourages her students to delve beneath the surface, embracing new postures and challenges while maintaining a light-hearted approach, acknowledging that wobbles are part of the journey and smile whilst you’re there. Lose yourself in the feeling of the postures and most importantly the transitions between them. Listening to and trusting your body. Above all, presence over performance.
